Did You Know … #7: The Heart is the “Access Point” to God.

Knowledge

Our heart has thoughts! (finally science has agreed to what Christians already knew)

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. ~Genesis 6:5 (NKJV)

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. ~Hebrews 4:12-13 (NKJV)

For from within, [that is] out the heart of men, come base and malevolent thoughts and schemes, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, adulteries, acts of greed and covetousness, wickedness, deceit, unrestrained conduct, envy and jealousy, slander and profanity, arrogance and self-righteousness and foolishness (poor judgment). All these evil things [schemes and desires] come from within and defile and dishonor the man.” ~Mark 7:21-23 (AMP)

Our heart influences our inner and outer wellbeing (or as science says, “heart sends healing commands”)

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. ~PROVERBS 4:23 (NKJV)

Our heart connects our spirit to the Holy Spirit (GOD)(or as science says, “heart connects us to higher intelligence”)

Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us in God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit (Holy Spirit) in our hearts as a guarantee. ~2 Corinthians 1:21-22 (NKJV)

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statues, and you will keep My judgements and do them. ~Ezekiel 36:26-27 (NKJV)

Our heart when guided by the Holy Spirit and God’s Word, is the source of “wisdom” (or as science says, “the heart is the source of wisdom”)

Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding, But what is in the heart of fools is made known. ~Proverbs 14:33 (NKJV)

So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. ~Proverbs 2:2-5 (NKJV)

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. ~Psalm 19:7 (NKJV)

Did You Know…

The heart provides an access point for what science calls “intuitive guidance” (aka The Holy Spirit) or “higher power” (aka GOD). The heart is considered the global coordinator of our inner self.

*Finally “discovered” thousands of years AFTER God shares the truth of His Word in the Bible. However, they still do not “admit“ to the true creator because they cannot understand Him.

Questions

Do you want to wait for the “evidence” to catch up to the Word of God?

Do you think the “evidence” of man will ever fully catch up to the complete knowledge and understanding of GOD?

If you answered NO to either of these, what are you waiting for – Get His Word into your soul!

Hidden Battles: Episode #13 – Experience And Endurance Leads To The Crown Of Life

In this episode of “Experience and Endurance Leads To The Crown Of Life,” I’ll be sharing a short story about a question that was asked during our small group studies the other day, which led to deep reflections on why we are tested in this lifetime and how it is for our benefit that we should experience, endure, and overcome through Jesus to pass the test and receive victory in this life and the life to come! I’ll unpack what all this means in this episode!

Hidden Battles: Episode #7 – The Shadow Man

Today in this episode called “The Shadow Man”, I’ll share one of the demonic attacks from my memoir in which, to my surprise, I have over the last year learned that many other people have seen and experienced this exact same demonic entity.  Over the last year, I’ve had numerous people share with me, having seen and some even experienced, nearly identical attacks from what I am calling “The Shadow Man”.  They have admitted they did not think they would ever tell anyone about their experience until to their shock they read my story “The Shadow Man” in my memoir. Although, not ready to openly share with the world their experiences, I hope my sharing will empower them to take a step in faith and also share the truth of these hidden battles when they are ready as well.

Hidden Battles: Episode #18 – What Does Sin Do To Us?

Today, in this episode, I will skip a couple of chapters from my book “Blinded By Hidden Battles” as we read the story of Jesus (His Story) last week. In this episode, I’m going to ask you to think about “your story” as we do a deep dive into the chapter called “Know Your Sins” … “What is sin and what does it do to us?” I challenge you to take out a notepad and pen and jot down whatever may come up for you when I read this chapter from “Blinded By Hidden Battles.” The impact of sin goes beyond what I will share in this chapter. I will dive into the “science of sin” in another episode.
