Revelation #36: Who is the Holy Spirit?

Question: Who is the Holy Spirit?

A) An impersonal power that God makes available to believers in Jesus.

B) The third divine person of the Godhead that has a mind, emotions, and will. The Holy Spirit is God.

C) A mystical force.

Answer: B) The third divine person of the Godhead that has a mind, emotions, and will. The Holy Spirit is God.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE THIRD DIVINE PERSON OF THE TRINITY OR GODHEAD

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit ~Matthew 28:19 (AMP)

THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS A MIND

None of the rulers of this age recognized and understood this wisdom; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; but just as it is written [in Scripture],

“Things which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the heart of man,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, who obey Him, and who gratefully recognize the benefits that He has bestowed].”

For God has unveiled them and revealed them to us through the [Holy] Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things [diligently], even [sounding and measuring] the [profound] depths of God [the divine counsels and things far beyond human understanding]. For what person knows the thoughts and motives of a man except the man’s spirit within him? So also no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

~ 1 Corinthians 2:8-11 (AMP)

THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS EMOTIONS

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [but seek to please Him], by whom you were sealed and marked [branded as God’s own] for the day of redemption [the final deliverance from the consequences of sin]. ~ Ephesians 4:30 (AMP)

THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS WILL

All these things [the gifts, the achievements, the abilities, the empowering] are brought about by one and the same [Holy] Spirit, distributing to each one individually just as He chooses. ~1 Corinthians 12:11 (AMP)

In this episode of “Experience and Endurance Leads To The Crown Of Life,” I’ll be sharing a short story about a question that was asked during our small group studies the other day, which led to deep reflections on why we are tested in this lifetime and how it is for our benefit that we should experience, endure, and overcome through Jesus to pass the test and receive victory in this life and the life to come! I’ll unpack what all this means in this episode!

Hidden Battles: Episode #6 – Purposeful Prayer

Today in this episode called “Purposeful Prayer”, I’ll share briefly about the period of time between when my eyes were first spiritually opened and before I was delivered from demonic oppression by Jesus. Then most of this episode will be on prayer or how we communicate with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I’ll be taking some teachings from my Christian Coaching workbook called “The Truth To Overcoming Hidden Battles”. After, we’ll end with reflections.

Hidden Battles: Episode #7 – The Shadow Man

Today in this episode called “The Shadow Man”, I’ll share one of the demonic attacks from my memoir in which, to my surprise, I have over the last year learned that many other people have seen and experienced this exact same demonic entity.  Over the last year, I’ve had numerous people share with me, having seen and some even experienced, nearly identical attacks from what I am calling “The Shadow Man”.  They have admitted they did not think they would ever tell anyone about their experience until to their shock they read my story “The Shadow Man” in my memoir. Although, not ready to openly share with the world their experiences, I hope my sharing will empower them to take a step in faith and also share the truth of these hidden battles when they are ready as well.
