If you are not “finding” God and desire to truly have a relationship with Him – here are some tips.
TIP: Seek Him & Believe
But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. ~Hebrews 11:6 (AMP)
Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ~Jeremiah 29:13 (AMP)
TIP: Enter Through “The Door”
I [Jesus] am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security). The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. ~John 10:9-10 (AMP)
TIP: Humble Yourself (Repent)
Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose]. ~James 4:10 (AMP)
TIP: Believe And Not Doubt
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. ~James 1:6-8 (NIV)
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. ~1 John 5:14-15 (NIV)
TIP: Trust Confidently In Him
Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. ~Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP)
TIP: Seek Him As He Is (Spirit & Truth)
God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” ~John 4:24 (AMP)
TIP: Meditate On His Word For Revelation!
