Take It All To The Cross: Counterfeit Love

Is it “love”? Or is it something else?

Lust, addiction, perversion, control, and manipulation which leads to toxic relationships that become addictive, destructive, and repetitive.

It creates a twisted view in ones mind of what love should look like.

This is counterfeit “love” and not from God.

What is Jesus’ version of love?

Love is kind, thoughtful, and patient. Love rejoices with the truth when right and truth prevail. Love bears all things regardless of what comes. Love believes all things. Love hopes all things. Love endures all things without weakening and remains steadfast during difficult times.

It creates a relationship based on genuine friendship qualities first and foremost as a foundation for everlasting love.

Stop dabbling in counterfeit love from the enemy. It will only lead to destruction.

If you are addicted to toxic love (toxic relationships) the one and only answer is to take it to the cross of Jesus; the creator and inventor of real love.

Choose Jesus …

Take it all to the cross of Jesus

Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away. ~1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (AMP)

Hidden Battles: Episode #13 – Experience And Endurance Leads To The Crown Of Life

In this episode of “Experience and Endurance Leads To The Crown Of Life,” I’ll be sharing a short story about a question that was asked during our small group studies the other day, which led to deep reflections on why we are tested in this lifetime and how it is for our benefit that we should experience, endure, and overcome through Jesus to pass the test and receive victory in this life and the life to come! I’ll unpack what all this means in this episode!

Hidden Battles: Episode #7 – The Shadow Man

Today in this episode called “The Shadow Man”, I’ll share one of the demonic attacks from my memoir in which, to my surprise, I have over the last year learned that many other people have seen and experienced this exact same demonic entity.  Over the last year, I’ve had numerous people share with me, having seen and some even experienced, nearly identical attacks from what I am calling “The Shadow Man”.  They have admitted they did not think they would ever tell anyone about their experience until to their shock they read my story “The Shadow Man” in my memoir. Although, not ready to openly share with the world their experiences, I hope my sharing will empower them to take a step in faith and also share the truth of these hidden battles when they are ready as well.

Hidden Battles: Episode #18 – What Does Sin Do To Us?

Today, in this episode, I will skip a couple of chapters from my book “Blinded By Hidden Battles” as we read the story of Jesus (His Story) last week. In this episode, I’m going to ask you to think about “your story” as we do a deep dive into the chapter called “Know Your Sins” … “What is sin and what does it do to us?” I challenge you to take out a notepad and pen and jot down whatever may come up for you when I read this chapter from “Blinded By Hidden Battles.” The impact of sin goes beyond what I will share in this chapter. I will dive into the “science of sin” in another episode.
