THE LIE
I feel defeated. -OR- I am defeated.
THE TRUTH
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ. ~1 Corinthians 15:57 (AMP)
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. ~Romans 8:37 (AMP)
For the [true] love of God is this: that we habitually keep His commandments and remain focused on His precepts. And His commandments and His precepts are not difficult [to obey].
