Boo! Fear Not. 31 Days of Spiritual Armor.
Day 5 – The Doorway to the Occult
Subtitle: Why is Halloween the occult’s favorite holiday?
The devil’s not hiding—he’s recruiting.
Devotional Message: For witches, Satanists, and occultists, Halloween is a high “holy” day.
Rituals, blood sacrifices, and spell-casting still happen on this night across the world. While the culture calls it fun, the occult calls it power.
The Bible warns us that those who practice witchcraft and sorcery open themselves to demonic bondage.
We cannot belong to both kingdoms.
Choosing “just for fun” participation opens doors we may not realize. Jesus said you cannot serve two masters.
Call to Action: Follow GodDesignLLC and visit GodDesign.org for more.
Scripture: No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord]. (Matthew 6:24 AMP)
Reflection Question: Am I unknowingly opening spiritual doors through traditions or activities?
Challenge: Renounce one past occult or Halloween activity in prayer. (commit to stop and close that door)
Salvation Call: Heavenly Father, I come to you as a sinner in need of your grace. I repent of my sins and surrender my life to Jesus Christ. Jesus, I ask for you to be my Lord and Savior over every area of my life. Let Your will be done in my life Lord. Jesus, place in me Your Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to be my helper through all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
