Boo! Fear Not. 31 Days of Spiritual Armor.
Day 20 – No Fellowship with Darkness
Subtitle: Why is compromise dangerous?
You can’t mix light and dark without dimming the light.
Devotional Message: Some believers think Halloween can be redeemed—hand out candy, join the parties, or dress “just for fun.” But Scripture is clear: we cannot have fellowship with darkness. To participate is to compromise.
Light and darkness cannot mix. Jesus calls His people to be set apart.
That doesn’t mean we hide in fear; it means we shine His light boldly, refusing to blend with the works of darkness.

Scripture: Do not participate in the worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness, but instead expose them [by exemplifying personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character] (Ephesians 5:11 AMP)
Reflection Question: Where have I been tempted to compromise for culture’s sake?
Challenge: Pray and ask God for the courage to stand apart in holiness.
Salvation Call: Heavenly Father, I come to you as a sinner in need of your grace. I repent of my sins and surrender my life to Jesus Christ. Jesus, I ask for you to be my Lord and Savior over every area of my life. Let Your will be done in my life Lord. Jesus, place in me Your Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to be my helper through all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
