Day 23 – Temptation of Darkness

Subtitle: Are we hesitant with temptation or standing firm?
Darkness isn’t attractive—it’s deceptive.

Devotional Message: Temptation often appears fun, harmless, or trendy. Halloween normalizes engagement with fear, occult symbolism, and rebellion.

Satan counts on hesitation to weaken faith. Scripture calls us to stand firm in the light.

Scripture: So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. (James 4:7 AMP)

Reflection Question: Where am I hesitating to say no to darkness?

Challenge: Pray for discernment and verbally declare one area of resistance today.

Salvation Call: Heavenly Father, I come to you as a sinner in need of your grace.  I repent of my sins and surrender my life to Jesus Christ. Jesus, I ask for you to be my Lord and Savior over every area of my life. Let Your will be done in my life Lord. Jesus, place in me Your Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to be my helper through all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
