Day 14 – Satan Masquerades as Light

Subtitle: What is the devil’s favorite disguise?
Not all costumes are cloth—some are spiritual.

Devotional Message: Costumes and disguises are at the heart of Halloween. Spiritually, this mirrors Satan himself, who masquerades as an angel of light.

He rarely shows up with horns and a pitchfork—instead, he disguises lies as truth, fear as fun, and death as entertainment.

Halloween trains us to laugh at what should grieve us. But God’s Word reveals the truth behind the mask.

Our call is to remove deception (Satan’s counterfeit light) and walk in the light of Christ.

Reflection Question: Where have I accepted Satan’s disguise as something harmless?

Challenge: Pray for discernment to see behind cultural “masks.”

Salvation Call: Heavenly Father, I come to you as a sinner in need of your grace.  I repent of my sins and surrender my life to Jesus Christ. Jesus, I ask for you to be my Lord and Savior over every area of my life. Let Your will be done in my life Lord. Jesus, place in me Your Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to be my helper through all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
