Boo! Fear Not. 31 Days of Spiritual Armor.

Day 25 – Demons Don’t Knock First

Subtitle: How do these dark activities give the enemy access?
Curiosity opens doors, and God’s Word is strong and clear.

Devotional Message: Spiritual forces of darkness are real. Even small dabbling—Ouija boards, spells, curiosity about spirits—gives the enemy access.

Scripture calls us to holiness, vigilance, and protection in Christ.

Call to Action: Follow @GodDesignLLC and visit GodDesign.org for more.

Scripture: See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception [pseudo-intellectual babble], according to the tradition [and musings] of mere men, following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Christ. (Colossians 2:8 AMP)

Reflection Question: Where might I have unknowingly invited evil spirits into my life by my dabbling?

Challenge: Renounce any dabbling or curiosity in darkness today in Jesus’ name.

Salvation Call: Heavenly Father, I come to you as a sinner in need of your grace.  I repent of my sins and surrender my life to Jesus Christ. Jesus, I ask for you to be my Lord and Savior over every area of my life. Let Your will be done in my life Lord. Jesus, place in me Your Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to be my helper through all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
