Day 26 – The Battle Over Children

Subtitle: Why are children the target?
Satan hunts children early because he fears their future purpose in God.

Devotional Message: Halloween markets darkness directly to kids—costumes, candy, cartoons.

Satan knows children are arrows in God’s hands, so he tries to bend and twist them early.

Parents, cover your children in prayer and teach them the truth.

Scripture: Behold, children are a heritage and gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. (Psalm 127:3 AMP)

Reflection Question: How are you intentionally covering and protecting the children’s minds and hearts?

Challenge: Pray over your children—or a child you know—every night this week for protection of their mind and heart from the enemy.

Salvation Call: Heavenly Father, I come to you as a sinner in need of your grace.  I repent of my sins and surrender my life to Jesus Christ. Jesus, I ask for you to be my Lord and Savior over every area of my life. Let Your will be done in my life Lord. Jesus, place in me Your Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to be my helper through all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
