Day 30 – Resist & Stand Firm

Subtitle: Did you know your faith is your spiritual weapon?
Stand firm and resist the darkness—don’t flee, hide, or cower in silence. 

Devotional Message: The enemy tempts, taunts, and tries to manipulate.

Scripture commands believers to resist and stand firm.

Every temptation gives an opportunity to grow stronger in faith and boldness.  Speak bold truth of God’s Word and watch the darkness flee.

Scripture: So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. (James 4:7 AMP)

Reflection Question: Where do I need to resist and stand firm, rather than retreat?

Challenge: Write down one area to stand firm in obedience this week.

Salvation Call: Heavenly Father, I come to you as a sinner in need of your grace.  I repent of my sins and surrender my life to Jesus Christ. Jesus, I ask for you to be my Lord and Savior over every area of my life. Let Your will be done in my life Lord. Jesus, place in me Your Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to be my helper through all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
